Screen printed mailing labels...

This was my Saturday night, making various screen printed mailing labels.I made these screens out of 3 x 5 wood frames purchased from ikea, I adhered some mesh to the frames and then used liquid block out to make my design.. so easy!

Coming over here, I had the best revelation for your new blog name:

Jenny from the Blog

However, Google search with quotes leads to:
Jenny from the Block - 535,000
Jenny from the Blog - 6,430

Looks like we missed the window. Rats!

ps: Have you ever used a scoop coater for getting emulsion on screens? Do they make them tiny? (My class got canceled, but they have another one next Sunday.)

You are a nerd.

Scoop coater, yes. I have only used them for larger screens though... seems you could find something that would work on a smaller scale. Have you ever been to McLogan's?

Mini screens made from Ikea picture frames - brilliant!
